Fabulous trip despite getting sick and missing 4 days. Would like to have more information on each day. Things like when docking, when leaving port. Hard to plan without that info. Made plans for Easter church in Nuremberg but we weren't in port yet. Would have been nice to know that. Food and staffing were impeccable.

Most of the food was superb. Except they can't make toast. Used both the Restaurant (main dining room) and Aquavit Lounge.

Didn't really participate in these. They had talks about the places we were going and they did bring onboard a glass blower. That was wonderful.

Had a piano player in the Lounge. Didn't really stop to listen.

Staff was constantly cleaning the entire ship. Perfect for Covid prevention. Layout of the ship was stream-lined and easy to navigate.
Cabin / Stateroom

Although the cabin was small, it was very comfortable and efficient. Could have used some more drawers/shelves. Room was spruced up twice a day.
Ship tip
Spend more time outside of your cabin. Use the common spaces more.
Since we are physically challenged, we had to take the easier tour. We only saw a very small portion on the city surrounding St. Stephen's Cathedral. I would have liked to have seen more. Maybe a longer tour with more stops.
Provided excursion was to the Wurzburg Residenz. Again, I would have liked to have seen more of the city. The palace was beautiful and the gardens excellent.
We did not do the provided excursion since it was considered too strenuous. So we went into Koblenz on our own. Lovely area around the dock area. We took the cable car across the river and went to the fortress.
We stayed 2 extra nights here on our own, NOT through Viking. Loved the whole feel of this city. Crazy drivers, especially the bikers. The canals are wonderful
Went well and quite easily. I just wish we had a better idea what would happen before the morning of disembarkation. We really didn't know what was going on. Different from other cruises I have been on.
