Took a Royal Caribbean excursion to the sandy beach and spent the day on the beach, rented beach chairs and umbrellas, kind of pricy but I don't like sitting on the sand. Our friends did the rocky beach and it was nothing but big rocks and pebbles not only on the shoreline but in the water. It was nice to walk around the town. This is not an escorted tour and you were left on your own once you got there to find a place to stay for the day to sit. I think the cruise line could have been a little more helpful in this regard.

we where shocked to find today we where in Calvi not where the iteneri said .have to re book the trip to Monaco . Calvi is a loverley place .lots of loverley bars and restaurants.well worth a visit.

Loved it here. Lovely to walk around and easy to get train to Monaco and Monte Carlo. Or go in other direction to Nice. Vile franche itself is also lovely to wander around in to something to eat and drink.
