Review summary
Overall we loved our cruise on the Celebrity Edge. The only over hyped experience was dinner at the Magic Carpet.Embarkation
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
Fine Cut Steakhouse
A great experience but I have had better steak at Capital Grille and other fine steakhouses. The service was outstanding and I would still recommend this dining venue even though the steak was good, but not great.
Eden Café
Eden was a very interesting and unique dining experience. Five courses and small portions. For each course you are giving two choices. The waiter recommended that my wife and I order one of each so we could taste all ten dishes. The food was very good and the entertainment was a little bit like a Cirque de Soleil performance. Both of our kids (14 & 18) enjoyed the food and entertainment as well. I would recommend experiencing this dining venue.
Le Grande Bistro
Only open for lunch and for take out. $20 cover charge per person unless you have the free specialty dining package. Even if you have to pay, it was worth the cover charge. Also, Le Grande Bistro is where Le Petite Chef is severed in the evenings.
Luminare at the Retreat
Daniel Boulud signature appetizers, entrees, and deserts are a must. You cannot go wrong.
Rooftop Garden Grill
Outstanding burgers! Well worth the cover charge.
Blu
Dinner at Blu was just ok. The dishes are created for the Aqua Class Suites so they are healthier but a little bland.

Ship tip
Book a suite so you have access to the Retreat area and Luminae. Luminae had some of the best food on the ship. The Retreat is an exclusive area of the ship for suite guests. It has its own pool, hot tub, a huge outdoor sunning area. Plus a private bar and lounge.
