Boat was outside Passau for all but one night. The dock was lined with other Viking ships you had to walk thru to get to shore

Took a bus to port. Then took another bus to Salzburg. Salzburg was not worth three-hour, one-way trip.

This port was just okay. However, the beautiful pipe organ concert at St. Stephen's Cathedral was a favorite highlight for me (having been an organist while growing up). The local tour guide for the walking tour seemed to be disgruntled and was not a happy person. The tour seemed very rushed. We were happy to finally arrive at the Cathedral for the organ concert.

The 17,990 piped organ in Passau is worth seeing but we didn't stay for the whole concert. We sat at the back (as suggested by our cruise director if we wanted to slip out early) and left about half way through. Thanks for the tip, Marcela!

Did not go to Passau because of the water level. But, we went to Salzburg which is a beautiful place. I highly recommend Viking to anyone because they were able to transport us to a sister ship.
