A really nice city, I suggest if you get chance do the HoHo red bus, it gets you to see all the sights with a good voice guide. In the main square lots of places to eat and soak up the atmosphere.

We preferred this to Lisbon maybe as it was our first visit. City tour proved popular and we saw all we needed to.

What a wonderful place, our second visit. This time we opted to see it with a guide and we realised how much we missed on the first time. A wonderful port and you can easily fill you day here. If you are going solo do some research first as its easy to miss some of the hidden treasures such as the railway station.

The ship was supposed to stop here but did not due to being diverted to Cherbourg (boring) because of a hurricane.

This time we booked an excursion and enjoyed the city far better than going it alone. The visit to the Offley Distillery was great and tasting the port was worth it. I even bought two bottles of it back and two of their glasses
