Cabin 8142 was small and towards the aft. Shower was much better than on Insignia. We seemed to have the better view of the ports on the port side, especially in Bordeaux France

Ship tip

A room close to elevators would be preferred. Sign up early for culinary classes & Excursions. We love the size of this ship

We went on our own to Canterbury and Dover castle. I would recommend an excursion but they were sold out. We loved Canterbury the castle was extremely interesting because it was the base for the Dunkirk rescue

Loved Bilbao. La Rioja wine tour was probably our favorite excursion of the cruise. Great wine and the best winery we've seen and we've been to many. The Frank Gehry designed hotel is very impressive

We were really looking forward to Normandy and the D day invasion. Unfortunately we had a poor tour guide that we couldn't understand his pronunciation and after a while we tuned him out.
