We took a 1/2 day trip shopping in Aix en Provence. We thought we were going to see all the beautiful lavendar flowers you see in the pix...but NOPE...not on the agenda. The shopping was fun..the soaps smelled good..but we only got 1 hour to shop. Too short of a time.

The cab ride into town was like the Indy 500! The train to the top to the cathedral...was an experience!

Our first time in Marseilles and in the midst of the Europesn Championships. No great hassle - just a lot of people. Again the tour bus is worth a look.

Take the bus into the city center then walk, follow the map. the excursions are pricy
