enjoyed our Pisa tour but wasn't happy that we had to stay two nights here. Nothing is opened on ship when in port.

We did everything we wanted to do here, see Pisa and some beach time. We even did a little shopping.

This is one of the stops that a lot of people told us not much to do but going to see the leaning tower Pisa . But I have a different suggestion for you take a quick taxi ride to a small village called Lerici over there you’ll see a small Fishermans port where you can hire a private boat ride to the islands located nearby for a quick lunch and amazing scenery cost us about €200 for four people but the staff was amazing with the scenery that you see

We did a half day excursion to Pisa. Didn’t have much time but we got our photos with the tower & grabbed a gelato on the way back to the bus. There definitely wouldn’t have been enough time to go into the tower but we hadn’t planned on doing that anyway.

We took the train to Cinque Terre. Would highly recommend visiting there. Trains aren't very dependable as far as timing, so be cautious of that aspect.

It is a two hour drive to Florence giving you little time to see anything in depth. The Accademia is amazing and we wish there'd been time to go into the Duomo, but the lines were too long and we had to get back to the ship. Tuscany in my Pocket tour with Guido was pure joy and we learned so much about Tuscany and Florence from our wonderful guide. He also has been doing this for so long that we didn't have to wait to get in anywhere.

We took the shore excursion to Rapallo, Sta. Margerhita and Portofino and are so glad we did. Much to see, very beautiful and the boat ride to Portofino was a nice way to find a cool breeze! We went to Florence last time and it was too long a ride, too crowded and too frantic to try and see anything since it was overrun with tourists.

The thing to do, so they say, is go to Florence, but it's a 1.5 your train ride each way, possibly a total of 2 hours just traveling each way to and from the port. We opted to just hang around the port and drink some beers.
