Nice is only worth an hour (there isn't much to it) and Monaco is great, but only needs a few hours as well since it's so tiny. Having a tour guide and bus to get you around is great.

Again, glad we we stopped, but wouldn't go back. We found a few small shops in the streets off the main strip that were very nice. Especially the Fromagerie, we bought some cheeses, meats and bread from a local bakery and had a small picnic on the balcony of our ship cabin. Oh, and we found a canned sardine store that was great.

We had a nice stroll around the town and lunch. I give this the lowest rating because we had a short time in port so it wasn't worth getting a driver and heading to Grasse or Nice as I would have liked. There's not a lot to do and see in Cannes aside from the Palais and The Croisette.

Amazing town. Beautiful, well maintained, friendly... Just get out and walk around. We had crepes and croque madam at a sidewalk Cafe and it was fantastic. A LOT of smokers in France, which was the only real negative for us.
