Train into Berlin through the cruise lines, amazing!

Simply too far from anything. Get away from the crowds. Hop on a train to Lubeck and or Wismar. Skip Berlin entirely as it's way too far -so it's just a horrible bus ride for a short tour. Best to stay local or see other cities as noted above.

Visit Rostock by boat. IT takes 45 minutes and iT is very close to the ship. Warnemunde is also a very nice seaside resort.

Got off ship and walked around the local area. Put in 3-4 miles walking around. Ended up in the seamen’s club on the dock. Didn’t think it was worth spending 6 hours on a bus to see 3 hours in Berlin.

Nice small beach town. Do not take shore excursion to Rostock: Rostock by tram and river. The tram was very ordinary, the city tour very short and the boat ride very uninteresting due to it being all industrial.
