11 day Baltic cruise was great. Enjoyed all the ports of call. Just be ready to be tired after leaving Russia.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
I filled out everything on line before the cruise so it took only 10-15 minutes to get on board the ship.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
I had around 70% of my breakfasts at the buffet and the rest at park cafe. I did mention to the servers at the cafe that the eggs in the McMuffin were scorched most of the time and they said that they would talk to the chef.
I only ate lunch 3-4 times in the buffet. Food was good.
Ate most of my dinners in the main dinning room. We chose my time dining and usually ate around 6:30 pm. I was happy with the food choices but my wife was a little disappointed. The service was always great.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
This was more of a relaxed cruise and we didn’t use any of the actives. We did attend every theater production and went to most of the movies.
Medical Center
5 out of 5
My Wife got sick after leaving Honningsvåg on the previous cruise. She Spent 5 days recuperating in the room but the medical staff was great seeing her every day. They arranged for a medical exam and ultrasound in Copenhagen on ships arrival. Everything turned out fine and was able to complete the 2nd cruise. Doctor asked us to keep them informed when we got home and saw our regular doctor. Was very happy with the service and concerns of he medical department. We had a bill from the hospital in Copenhagen but no charges for the ships exams and treatments. Thanks RCLKirk Allen
Entertainment

We went to all of the shows and enjoyed them. My wife liked to go to the centrum and listen to the music.
Children's Programs
No kids this cruise.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our Room steward Ricky was great. Keep the room clean and tidy and always had ice in the bucket. The waiters in main dinning hall were great in that they always asked if we needed something and tried to make everything perfect.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The layout was good. I have done most of my cruises on the larger vessels in the fleet. This was kind of nice for a change. It was nice not having to make reservations for everything and not having the crowds associated with the bigger ships. The ship was always kept clean and well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

We usually go with an ocean view room but decided to go with interior room since we we on ship for 21 days this time. Our next cruise has a balcony room.
Ship tip
If you normally sail on the larger ships prepare to slow down and enjoy the relaxed cruise.
We spent 4 days in Copenhagen before the cruise started. We bought the 3 day Copenhagen card and it worked out for us. We did a lot of touring around by ourselves seeing castles , amusement parks, museums, Viking ships, and other attractions.
Got off ship and walked around the local area. Put in 3-4 miles walking around. Ended up in the seamen’s club on the dock. Didn’t think it was worth spending 6 hours on a bus to see 3 hours in Berlin.
Did the heritage museum tour, Peterhof palace tour, private motorboat ride and prince Vladimir palace and fountains. Enjoyed all three days touring Russia. Only complaint was the crowds at the attractions.
Historic Stockholm and Sigtuna. I wouldn’t recommend this tour in that there was just not enough time to see the Vasa Museum. We had about 1 1/2 hours there and needed more time. We were not really impressed with Sigtuna and could of done without it. We ended up spending another day at the Vasa Museum after we departed the ship. We had three days in Stockholm after the cruise to get in more sightseeing. We really enjoyed the 2 hr 15 min under the bridges canal tour. Enjoyed this city very much.
Getting off the ship was easy. It took almost an hour to get a cab. Close to 50 bucks to take a cab into the city center. Stayed at the Scandic Continental which was right down town and over the train station. Great location and hotel.
