Long queues to get through imigration. Celebrity made a point of saying they give priority to guests who use their excursion and let them disembark first.

Did the 2 day tour and it was worth it for the Hermitage, also took the canal boat, but it was raining, & cold so that put a damper on the day. You do see a lot with the tour, but it is fast moving. They did serve us caviar with lunch and of course Russian vodka. Great History here!!!

Main stop and highlight of the cruise but highly congested and every tour stop is a mob scene. A must do but no chance to absorb or truly enjoy the stop.

Traffic and crowds make this a strenuous and stressful port to visit. By all means go with organized tours. The folkloric show is great. Lot's of stairs and very few elevators, so plan to walk a lot... I mean A LOT!

awesome - city is great - churches, etc - our tour spent way too much time at the hermitage but we didnt have a choice - also our horrible tour guide kept us lunching at a restaurant for almost 2 hours of our trip so she could bs with other people - waste of valuable time

We did the two day tour with Catherine'sPalace at night. The price may seem steep, but we felt we saw so much! The lunches/dinners were excellent!
