Celebrity reflection check in at Dublin port is absolutely diabolical. The whole process was slow and very unorganised. No one seemed to know what they were doing. Really a horrible experience to start our holiday

Had been to Dublin last year. We loved it and had taken the HOHO bus and Guinness Storehouse tour at that time. This time we walked from the free drop off point (amazing that NCL didn't charge for the bus, but it was then a twenty minute walk to Dublin's light rail. We got round trip from Point Station to Abby Station for $10 (NCL wanted something like $50 or $60 each to drop off nowhere near O'Connolly Street. We had booked on our own through Viator a tour of the Malahide Castle and the quaint fishing village of Howth, which are west of Dublin. Got to the tourist early, so we're recommended to see a great art museum within walking distance of out tour. Lovely museum near a war memorial. Took our tour at 2 pm with a terrific guide. Went back to Abby Station and rode back to Point Station. Walked towards port but NCL's free shuttle never showed up so flagged a cab. Lucky for us the cab driver took US $10 to put us right in front of the gangway. So much for NCL's free shuttle.

Too short a visit in such an interesting and historical city. Nice shuttle service.

Powerscourt Estate and Waterfall was interesting, amazing and refreshing. Bus trip through Dublin was too rapid to pick out many points of interest from previous cruises.

Hop on hop off bus. Very late arriving. There was so much traffic due to a Soccer game & Frday night traffic, it was worrisome getting back to the ship. Did no know HOHO buses quit running at suppertime .

Enjoyed a shore excursion to Trinity College, St. Patrick's Cathedral & saw some Dublin highlights. What a fantastic day & our guide was friendly & knowledgeable.

Spent two days in this port. Hop-on hop-off bus tour both days. A little chaotic with the timetable given for return shuttle buses back to the ship with a high demand of cruisers while having to stand in inclement weather. Second day was better due to sunny skies.

Most dynamic of all the ports. Having to buy a pass to take a bus to town, get off, buy a hop-on, hop-off pass seemed stupid. Got the impression that the port did not want us. Had a walking tour and left 1.5 hrs. early. We waited so long for the bus to town, that we had already bought, that we gave up and went back to the ship since we would miss the tour. Only place to shop so you would think they would want tourists but the set-up did not encourage the passengers.
