We did the Old Middleton Experience and Cork City Tour. The Jameson Distillery is very educational if you want to learn about whiskey distilling. Cork was not an easy city to see from the bus because of how close together everything is located. There is a wonderful museum at the cruise port that is definitely worth a visit.

Did the excursion to Blarney Castle. Tour was shortened due to tender problem the previous day. It was definitely too short of a tour. Could not even try to "kiss the stone" in the time allotted. The grounds are lovely as well and did not have enough time to fully explore.

Paid 17 euros to catch train to Cork (Kent Station) roundtrip for two people. Train ride 45 min. Purchased bus ticket 7.60 euro/pp roundtrip to Blarney Castle (Bus 215), which drops you off within walking distance to castle. Had enough time to return to Cove, purchased Hop On/Off tic (15 euros)/pp) to see sites.
