It was easy to walk around, and go see the museum right next to the port. It's well worth it. There's not a lot of typical cruise line "shopping" which can be a plus if you're tired of the usual ports that want to sell you jewelry. Grab an excursion for the day if you want to learn more about Ireland and cover more territory. Well worth it.

Had a little snafu with our tour at this port but luckily found a nice chap that ran a tour and taxi service that took us around personally to all the main sights including Blarney Castle.

No excursion, on our own. Visited the church my brother-in-law's grandfather was baptized in! Went to a hat shop to buy an authentic Irish "flat cap". Fun day! Great people!
