Bergen, Norway Port Reviews

Being a larger city, Bergen had a lot to offer. We started out on the included bus tour and then walked around the area for a while visiting some small shops and actually found a Starbucks.

Nice city but we were unable to see much. We went on the optional tour to Lyosen Island that was very nice. We also booked the included Panoramic Bergen tour. There was a lot of overlap and we should have skipped the panoramic and had time to explore the city on our own. The included tour was a waste of time.

Nice walk around town but we left at 14.30 so not long really. Great trip on the funicular for amazing view of the ship in the bay.

Hardangerfjord trip took all day so saw little of Bergen. Largest venue on cruise. Day trip was excellent, with outstanding candlelit buffet.

We took the “Norway in a Nutshell” excursion. For some reason the itinerary was reversed so we ended up eating lunch at 10:30 AM - this is not acceptable, especially given the cost of the excursion.
