Really liked having the excursions start a little later allowing time for a relaxed breakfast. Nice tour with demonstrations of jewelry making and glass blowing. Very quaint environment.

This and Ephesus became the highpoints of the trip. I would return to Malta at the next opportunity. What a beautiful experience.

Rented a taxi to old town, beautiful cathedral, St Pauls catacombs. Again, thought it would be so so but was great

We had the least amount of time to explore the city because we took the tour "Prehistoric Temples & Views". Our time would have been better spent touring Malta on our own. It also would be a better use of our money. While this may not be Norwegian Cruise fault, you had to run the gauntlet of shops before you could get to your ship. So this required you to walk a half mile from ship location past the shops and than walk a half mile back to were the ship was docked. There was an entry gate directly in front of the ship. I'm sure the explanation is security, or maybe just to shop owners a crack at money.
