Review summary

The sole purpose for choosing this particular cruise was the ports of call in Israel.  It was to be a pilgrimage as well as a vacation.  Celebrity knew at least 10 days prior to sailing that they were cancelling the stops in Israel but waited until the night before sailing to advise its passengers of the change, thereby eliminating all other options to postpone or cancel.  It was a wise short-term business decision but in the long-run it has cost Celebrity new and return business.  Many passengers, myself included, completely understood the need to cancel the stops.  What we don't appreciate is being disrespected by Celebrity in waiting until it was too late to reschedule or make other arrangements.  We're going back to Princess.

The attendants were excellent in our rooms, even the others on the same deck but not assigned to us were most attentive and friendly.

The Guest Services crew and Excursion crew were most helpful and responsive. The Dining room crew were excellent.

This and Ephesus became the highpoints of the trip. I would return to Malta at the next opportunity. What a beautiful experience.
