We didn't take the shore excursion for this. We met up with a few other cruise-goers and took a taxi to both cities for a very reasonable fare. We didn't get to spend too much time in each city but still enjoyed the cities very much.

Cruise should have spent a night in Rome and not here. Going into Florience was too far!

Stayed in Livorno this time, thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Got the HOHO and went on the funicular railway up to a beautiful area with great vista and little market, very quaint. Also took the canal boat trip which was very interesting too.

Cinque Terra tour was overpriced, especially for what you got for your money. Seas were fine, but they still has us take the train instead of the boat rides that we were looking forward to.

We did Pisa on our own and were very pleasantly surprised. Worth seeing. My sister did Florence and said the same thing. Supposedly one of the best places for shoppping.

The vendors selling umbrellas were very annoying. Would not leave us alone!
