The Florence Your Way dropped us off right in front of the Santa Croce church which was one of the main reasons for the cruise. Our agent was not familiar with the transfers and had us unnecessarily concerned about getting to Florence which was unnecessary as they bused us directly there for minimal cost.

We did a private excursion to Pisa and Florence through Shore Excursions Group. It was wonderful. I highly recommend them as an alternative to the ship excursions, which are more money and larger groups.

We booked a great tour with Papillion Tours that included Florence and San Gimignano. It was on Palm Sunday, and we received palms at the amazing Cathedral. It also included 1.5 hours at the Uffizi Gallery with a guide, the whole experience with admissions and guides included was about €120. We would definitely do it again. I researched and organized this tour and I think we had 8 people.

We did the highlights package through Norwegian Epic. The bus ride through Tuscany region was nice, seeing the vineyards, sunflowers and olive trees. We saw the HUGE Duomo cathedral, all of the outside statues, the first stone bridge built over the River Arno, ate a delicious dinner and wine in a palace and saw the leaning tower of Pisa in person! This excursion was awesome!

Loved this port! We did the Florence and Pisa excursion, so enjoyed the iconic Leaning Tower and the beautiful city of Florence. I knew before the cruise began that the Accademia Gallery (which houses The David) was closed every Monday, the day we were there, so I knew it wasn’t an option, but there is still so much more to see.

We took a shuttle bus to town & rode the Hop On, Hop Off bus around Livorno & outer areas. A very pretty seashore.

We actually did not arrive at Livorno because of a port issue. Royal Caribbean ended up taking us to La Spezia a few hours north of Livorno. This change of port didn't affect the excursion I already booked. I went to Florence and Pisa. Wonderful time.
