Go to the beach do not do the Rome tours they are too expensive or go to Rome on your own its too far you are better off making it a beach day in my opinion.

We went to Vatican City. It was well worth it. The shuttle service from this port was also great

Would like to have a couple more days to see Rome's sights. Too many tourists competing for the main attractions.

Lovely place and shopping is amenable to variety of guests. Covered areas for transportation back to ship for inclement weather.

Functional but not an attractive way to come into Rome or Italy.

Tour guide had a fixation of maps spent "hours" looking at a map of Italy instead of viewing the Vatican and other sites. The city of Rome is a dirty placem trash and dirt piled up on streets.

As anyone taken the vintage train from the ship into Rome. How was it ? Is it a long walk from drop off into Rome ? Really looking forward to this tour.

We didn't see much of it. Took a train in from Rome. This is where the cruise disembarked from. Spent a horrible, wet, cold hour standing in a holding pen in rain, thunder and lightning with hundreds of other passengers waiting to board. Many, many people got sick as a result - including us.
