Very dirty and depressed city. There has to be better ports than this.

Beautiful island. Had bus issue on excursion which turned into a bit of a cluster but turned out okay. Did Blue grotto and other mountain village area which were worth the effort.

The port area is a little rough but the old town is still within walking distance. Took a half day excursion through Princess that was great ... wine tasting on Mt Etna.

Very disappointed in Catania - assumed we were stopping at another port on Sicily as it was in our program. Catania really doesn't have much there.

Mt Etna and Jewelry "factory" Great guide- Mt Etna walk around if able- then onto the factory which was a mansion and some sales pitch but lovely array of specialties served with tasting of wine, limoncello- very nice treat! Our guide made this trip the best

we were suposed to arive at 12pm, instead we got there at 5:30pm. All there is to do is shop unless you pay big bucks for an excursion.

Took the “Taormina on your own” excursion. Lots of walking (seemed uphill, both ways). Good shopping and cafes were plentiful. My Etna was in hiding today.
