In Split we toured Diocletian’s palace and a walk through Split. One thing I noticed about Europe is that they have repurposed a lot of the ancient archeological sites. The Croatian people modified the inside of the palace for shops, food establishments, banks, etc. I was really struck by this. Thy did the modifications very tastefully though. I enjoyed the entire tour, and a must see, is the bank with a ancient section of a wall right in the center of the bank. After your tour make sure to stroke through the open air market. All the fresh produce, meats; you name it they have it.

We took the ship excursion to Krka. We were on the bus for two hours and then the park was so crowded it was not very enjoyable especially given we were pushing a buggy around. However park itself is incredibly beautiful. Did not go into Split town although it looked nice from the ship.
