Nice Port and good place to see. Lot of tourists... you can walk along the port and see beautiful things around like the Docletian Palace and little locals markets.

disappointed late docking which shortened the tour and left only 30 minutes for shopping. the guide did allow several people to get off in town instead of returning to dock but by then I was to frozen to make that walk back.

Not only did we tour Diocletian's Palace, but our excursion took us to a town about 30 minutes outside of Split called Trogir. I don't know what it was about this town, but I am convinced I could live there for a while. It was absolutely charming with a beautiful harbor, cute wine bars and restaurants, and fun shops. This was a great port day.

I love Split and wish I could have had more time there. I wanted to go to the Game of Thrones Museum, but there was not enough time. I did the Cetina River Cruise and Split Walking Tour.

If you are a history buff, you will really like this stop. Diocletian‘s palace is amazing. The people are very friendly, the only downside is everything was crowded. Of course, there was a ship in Port. But this is a very cool place to explore.
