Souda is teh port wiht nothing to do. Chania is an old part with tons of shops selling the typicla tourist stuff, and places to eat. Waste of time unless you rent a car on your own and make your own tour to see discoveries dating back 6500 BC and to see teh palace of teh Minoan civilization dating back to 2500 BC. Do this and see Chania as well on your own time. Not enough time in port, but you can do the drive to Iraklieon then Chania and back to port.

Signed up for a tour-went to a cemetary, then to a gravesite of a local politician which had a view and then to a monastery-waste of time
