Very pretty but pretty crowded--with only 2 cruise ships there. It may have as many as 5! Did a private tour with wine tasting in a smaller vineyard (don't go to the big one with the "great view". Very nice. The towns were beautiful but the rest of the island was unremarkable .

Don't do the Volcano hiking excursion. It is very disappointing and does not give you enough time to explore Santorini like we had hoped.

Loved Santorini didnt do a tour so went to the top and down by cable car Make sure you allow plenty of time. The queue was huge and our friends had to walk back down the steps to make the gender on time. I'd suggest going back to the cable car by 13.30.

Beautiful island. No need for tour... you can take public bus. Try the local wine.

Took the cable car up to Fira and then did the walk to Oia-took about 3 hours-nothing was open on the way. Views were spectacular! Took the bus back to Fira and then walked down the stairs to the tender. Just a note-when they talk about the 600 stairs, they don't mention that each stair is about 8' long! Took about 25 minutes.
