We walked around the old town on our own and also walked up to the fort on top of a small mountain. The view reminded me of a fiord in Norway. It was truly beautiful.

Beautiful town. Walk the city wall is so much fun! Boat tour to lady of rock is a waste of time and we didn’t have enough time to visit the little town. Just don’t miss when the ship sail into the fjord of Kotor, that’s the highlight of the whole trip to Kotor.

Very beautiful place!! Perast and Kotor a must see. The market around the Cathedral is good for souvenirs. I would love to come back.

In kotor, we didn't book an excursion, however the main attraction is to climb up the mountain (3 euros per person) it's a steep hike on insane, broken rocky steps so WEAR GOOD SHOES as the hike is roughly 4-5 miles. But the view was worth it if you can make it to the top! Kotor itself is just a small, coastal town and was easy to just walk around and fine a restaurant/shop for souvenirs. Prices are relatively cheap.

This is a tender port. The area makes its own weather. I was told it is often cloudy and misty. We took a Hop-On-Hop-Off Bus tour right off the dock. Glad we did and it rained before the end of the tour.

Kotor was so beautiful! We walked to the old fortress located up in the hills above the town and the views were just stunning! After the walk (which took us about 3,5 - 4 hours, with lots of stops along the way to admire the view) there wasn’t much time to do anything else in Kotor before our ship left the port.
