Very historic location with many photo ops. Be sure to buy a book that tells you what the ruins are at the archeological site and museum because the maps and signs are nonexistent.

You can get great bargain bus excursion to Olympic site on the Main Street of the port. Grab several other passengers and they'll give a group rate. About 1/10th the price of NCL excursion and you can go at your own pace.

we did a private excursion to olympia....was ok....katakolan looked pretty, worth an hour but thats probably all

A must see. Take the transportation package to go to Olympia, it takes almost an hour to get there from the port.

Olympia was fantastic and very educational. Very know knowledgeable tour guide. However, almost two hours at a winery was to long. The price for that tour, is without any doubt, to high.

Use Katacolon Express to get to olympia, don't have to pay the expensive shore excursion to get there
