Old Town is a must see. Taxis are 13 euro per car from port to old town. Uber also available. Take the cable car to the top for a spectacular view and walk down if you are feeling fit.

My favorite. No need for a tour. The old town is small and beautiful and you can see it all on your own. Take a bus or shuttle from port to the old town. Walk the medieval city walls, check out the shopping on the Stradun Placa and the little alleys on either side of it. Take a cable car to the top of Mt. Srd to see the beautiful city from an aerial view. So much to do not enough time. You can even go swimming outside of the city walls.

Beautiful city. We were last in Dubrovnik after the war when we took a tour. This time we took the ship’s shuttle for $25 each and then walked the wall. Phew! We made it, but my husband commented that it would have been easier fifteen years ago. No doubt.
