Dubrovnik is a must see, and if you’re a Game of thrones fan like me walk the wall that encircles the Old town and visit Lovrijenac fort which looks over Kings landing, great views from up there and nice spot to take photos

Absolutely the best stop of all. The most quaint and gorgeous city Amon the ocean side and with the castle walls. Beautiful and historical. I will go back and stay there for a couple of weeks.

Old town is nice but too many ppl. We have two cruise ships, princess and Holland America docked the day we arrived. Don’t need to use shuttle service. Just walk out the port and buy city bus ticket from the gift shop use euro if you don’t have local currency. Otherwise pay driver 15 hrk. There are many buses take you to the old town. It’s last stop so you won’t get lost, You will get there before everyone.

Great place to visit especially if you like Game of Thrones (not for me) where you can see all the groups walking round with the guides who have a folder with the photo’s of the cast in certain places and they take you to them places so you can see exactly where the filming took place. Very warm within the walls of the City though.

Our favorite port and a real suprise. The port itself is beautiful and the town of Dubrovnik is a true gem. With it's fort, city walls, scenic steps and old buildings, it feels like you are stepping back in time. The city is clean and there are good restaurants with outdoor seating for people & scenery watching & clean, modern restroom facilities. We went on the Game of Thrones tour & were so glad we did. We went to the old fort, walked around it including the top areas, then took a tour of the city walls. There were lots of steps, lots, and some really high areas, but the views were spectacular. If you are into the Game of Thrones, it's a plus because the guide shows you where scenes were filmed. But if like me you haven't watched the show, just zone out on the G.O.T. stuff & enjoy the spectacular views. Our guide, Boris, was fabulous, spoke perfect English, was happy & engaging, and answered any history questions quickly and succinctly. If you can still climb hundreds of steps, are not overweight & do not limp, have knee problems & are not afraid of heights, this tour is a must-do! Back in the ship we had a spectacular view from our balcony & enjoyed the city & coastline from our room.

Small but a great old city to explore. Get off the main walking street as quick as possible to you can really enjoy seeing the town. We did a short tour and then had time on our own. Make sure you try the local ice-cream.

Dubrovnik is a very expensive, but beautiful place - generally Croatia is much, much cheaper (we live in Croatia), but with the Game of Thrones etc, you expect it to be. It's also very, very busy (in the summer especially) but well worth the visit. A tip: Don't pay stupid prices for taxis - around the corner from the port exit, there are buses 1A, 1B and 3, taking you straight to the old town for 15kn (2 euro) per person. Buses are frequent, and most you would end up waiting for one is maybe 2-3 mins...

We loved Dubrovnik! We took a bus to the old city and walked around. We took the cable car up and took many amzing photos while we waited for a table at the restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff was amazing. But it was very windy and chilly up there, so make sure to wear a jacket! We purchased a few inexpensive souvenirs. All in all, it was one of the best ports!

A great port and an amazing old town surrounded by a wall which you can walk on, what more do you want from a port 😅 been here a couple of times both in the summer and it has been blisteringly hot.
