It definitely wasn't as good on Rhapsody of the seas as it was on Vision of the seas just a few months before. The quality of the overall cruise experience this time - food, entertainment etc appeared cheap and mediocre, which wasn't the case on Vision of the seas. We chose Royal Caribbean as they promise more superior cruise experience, but judging by this cruise, we may as well have been on MSC or Costa as far as the quality goes (and we would have saved a lot of money too).

Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Food and choice of food was soooo MUCH better on our last cruise - Vision of the seas (which is Rhapsody's sister ship!). Chicken dishes were almost 98% of time bones with hardly any meat at all. I think only once or twice there was breast of chicken in the stew...
Onboard Activities

Entertainment
4 out of 5
Pool band was mediocre, with literally 10 songs being played over and over again. Evening band was better, but the dance floor was pretty empty most of the times...
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Staff are always great, some a little slow in getting the orders (at the pool bar especially), but generally, we have no complaints.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
We thought the ship was revamped in November (at least that's what we read on the internet), but either it was not visible to the passengers, or the ship was in an awful state before, not sure.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our cabin was very comfortable, and clean. Stateroom attendant really took care of us brilliantly, no complaints what-so-ever. It was ok size, kids slept on bunk beds - the only annoying thing was that my husband and I had to sleep on single beds on the opposite sides of the room. The attendant explained that putting the beds together would be awkward for the kids to get down which made sense, so we left it at that.
Dubrovnik is a very expensive, but beautiful place - generally Croatia is much, much cheaper (we live in Croatia), but with the Game of Thrones etc, you expect it to be. It's also very, very busy (in the summer especially) but well worth the visit.
A tip: Don't pay stupid prices for taxis - around the corner from the port exit, there are buses 1A, 1B and 3, taking you straight to the old town for 15kn (2 euro) per person. Buses are frequent, and most you would end up waiting for one is maybe 2-3 mins...
Beautiful white and blue place - just as advertised... the only mistake we made was going down on foot (we took a cable car up) - it takes about an hour and a half to get down as you have to watch every little step you take (due to donkey poo), not to mention dodging donkeys on way up or down, as they really don't care where they are going. My daughter almost got ran over! It's also very sad watching exhausted donkeys going up and down in that heat (and we didn't see one bucket of water available to them for the whole journey down!!!) - if you can avoid it, do. It's not for the emotional crowd :'(
Olympia is great to see, but there is nothing much to do in Katakolon otherwise. Taxis cost A LOT (we got quoted 60 euros to Olympia!). In the end we walked 100m further and took a tour bus for 15 euros return for 4 of us (2 adults, 2 kids - 1 kid was free because we pretended we would look elsewhere).
