Port was beautiful but did not have enough time to view anything interesting. Tour guide was very informative. We went to a market which was good. But did not see anything interesting due to the shortness of the time there.

Should not be considered a port. Absolutely nothing to do there. Basically a pit stop for the ship to refuel.

I stayed on the ship...my knee was giving me a fit! The family said it was beautiful and a LOT of walking.

Our ship was there for only 5 hours, if I remember correctly. Seeing that it's such a short stop, we decided we'd have an easy walk around the port, check out some shops, etc. Unfortunately, there is not much to do around the port. If you want to see anything at all, it's best to go into the town, which is about 30 minutes away by bus or taxi.

We did not even go here, cruises.com site sold us an outdated itinerary. I spoke with customer service on the ship and was advised they have not done that itinerary for over 5 months, so the cruise was never schedule to visit Santorini or Crete. So instead of visiting 5 places, we ended up stock in the ship for 3 full days on the sea.

Only a short time in port. Wish it was longer. Walking tour was good but guide had no regard for people that were slower in walking. Should of waited a bit. Don't do this excursion if you have walking difficulties.

Port is 6km from the town of Chania. Need to take shuttle, taxi or walk. Port is not very beautiful but if you take a tour, make sure to see some beaches and town.

Wonderful, safe, scenic! It was a joy to simply wander around on our own. Be sure to get out of town center and wander in the back streets. We also took a boat tour, easily available from the harbor.
