Havana was a wonderful city full of beautiful and friendly people with so much culture and history. We took two shore excursions and also explored the city on our own for several hours. We're looking forward to going back and seeing what more the island has to offer outside the city!

We did the Old Havana walking tour and it consisted of us going into several hotel lobbies. I would not waste money on any tours in advance. Once the tour was over we did the Hop on Hop off bus tour for $10.00 per person, well worth the money, you get to see more and Hop off to explore. Liquor and cigar prices are cheaper in the cruise port and you don't have to carry it as far. Tours are everywhere and negotiable.

Book your excursions through Shipmate not RC! Ours were AMAZING (day 1: Private Classic Car Tour, day 2: Taste of Havana Tour.) We heard constant complaints from fellow passengers about the ships tours! ** The Taste of Havana tour is NOT for children! Please be respectful of others paying for this food, alcohol, and cigar tour and leave your kids behind! It was also 7 1/2 hrs long and HOT! Very inappropriate for anyone under 21 yrs old! ***

This ship is so beautiful. Lunch and drinks were delicious. We’re attended our first seminar. It was about our excursion options. Can’t wait for our Cuban adventure tomorrow.

Loved it but not enough time to do all I wanted to do. Excursions: Taste of Cuba- fun but rushed Legendarios del Guajirito- LOVED the show, “snack” was weird bc it’s food most Americans don’t eat, drink was good, though.

I am being told I must book excursions via RCCL in order to get off the ship. RCCL purchase the required visa at $75 each Is this true? We are overnight so would like to enjoy. Is it safe?

Tour guides were terrible, download the "Cuba" app free before you leave. You can use the gps even on airplane mode (since there is no cell reception in cuba). It was a life saver once we ditched the tour guide. Also, not sure if it was because went on Sunday, but cigars were more sparse than expected.
