Awesome island! I highly recommend island Tours and request Kenrick as your guide. This island was exceptionally clean and showed pride of their island life. We went swimming with the stingrays which was a blast, toured around the island off road, had some local food prepared for us and saw some of the old sugar mills.

Darkwood beach was incredible! It was or favorite thing were did off the ship. Caught a taxi from the guys hounding you in town and took about 35-40 minute ride to beach. Water was crystal clear and warm. Beach wasn't crowded. $25usd for an umbrella and 2 loungers. Beautiful area! Taxi driver was there to pick us up on time and was pretty anal about every spec of sand being off of every part of everything.

I stayed on ship to relax in Sanctuary area, hubby did a Princess excursion fo historical places,he liked it ,however it was a bit rushed. Not enough at certain places. He did say it was a beautiful island though.

My wife & I went on the Antigua Beach Break in February 2019 & had a great time. The beach was not crowded at all (unlike the St. Lucia excursion where they had us packed in like sardines). Transportation was provided, adequate facilities, one free drink (alcohol or not) beach chairs & umbrella. Relatively inexpensive, and you may purchase additional drinks, but no frills either. Perfect for us tho, who were looking just for a beautiful beach to chill at.
