We took the free trolley with friends to explore the fort. It is an absolutely breathtaking fort and has amazing views. We walked back through Old San Juan from the fort to the ship. We stopped to shop and grab a bite of local cuisine! Chugging a fresh Pineapple drink before running to catch the ship! Looking forward to our Oct 2018 cruise to San Juan!

This was a beautiful port! We headed left to El Morro (the fort) and had fun climing around and seeing some gorgeous views!! It was quite hot so we stopped in a delicious gelato place, right next to the Stuffed Avocado place. Staf was friendly and let us try any flavors before we made a decision. The locals were very kind in giving us information and some tips on where to see the best views, get the best pictures, and eat the best food.

I cannot say enough good things about this incredible island! We found our own taxi driver to give us a tour and had an incredible time exploring the fort, and walking the streets of Old San Juan. San Juan has the architecture of Europe and the colors of the Caribbean- it's absolutely gorgeous! We cannot wait to go back again and again!

We decided to not book an excursion. We wanted to just walk around the old and new San Juan and I'm glad we did this. Absolutely beautiful !!!

San Juan was awesome and it's one of my new favorite places I've been on a cruise. We wandered around on our own and went to the fort right in town, lots of little stores with locally-made goods, a coffee shop that was recommended to me (SO good!), a little restaurant recommended to us by a local shop owner, and the street with the umbrellas on it. Old San Juan is so colorful and easily walkable, I want to come back here for a full land vacation.

Old San Juan was gorgeous! We decided to take a tour from a local and it was amazing! The history there is enough to put anyone in awe. Yes, there are some run down parts, but where isn’t there? Check it out for yourself. You won’t be disappointed

My favorite port! Beautiful!! I would love to go back and spend more time here. We took a taxi to a fort, walked the downtown area and shopped. Everyone was very friendly.

Old San Juan is still the best!! Almost all recovered from the hurricane. It can take 2 full days to tour around all the nice places just in Old San Juan.
