Did the Blue Lagoon excursion, all had a blast! Upgraded for the inflatables for the grandkids while we enjoyed fresh conch salad and adult beverages. The port area was filled with friendly venders and lots to see and do. Will definitely return!

NASSAU WHAT CAN I SAY? We decided to tour the city instead of the tourist traps like Atlantis and guess what we discovered? Nassau could fit comfortably in any major city in the USA. Those whom have claimed how nasty or scary Nassau is must have NEVER VISIT NEW YORK, CHICAGO, DALLAS, ATLANTA, NASHVILLE, LOS ANGELES, BALTIMORE, or any other major US city! One main difference is laws are strict. 7 years for a gun and 1 year for each bullet or 3 appeals then a hanging maybe a bit much, I am just saying… Meeting and talking to some of the locals was great. Great beach here as well. Senor Frogs is a nice additive. Carnival should take 3 hours from that Beach stop and add it here so it can be enjoyed. Not hassled by vendors and only ask to buy weed by one person on the beach. Hmm, for some reason that reminded me of home when he asked, I wonder why? Anyway, go ashore and judge this place for yourself. Form your own opinion. Talk to the locals. Take a horse buggy ride and enjoy.

I love this place so much ! Loving that the island continues to grow....! The people are BEAUTIFUL and I was honored to release my son's (Jac'Qualen) ashes in the waters there.

I rated Nassau a 5 because of the particular excursion we did. I've been to Nassau many times and wanted a different experience other than a beach, Atlantis, or glass bottom boat tour. My family booked an excursion with the Graycliff Chocolatier Factory. We toured the factory, received interesting information and facts about the chocolate making process, then were escorted to a room where we were able to make our own chocolate bars, chocolate candies, and chocolate lollipops. They provided the chocolate, the fillings, and the molds. The entire family, from the seniors to the kids, loved this excursion.

Nassau is awesome. Cool locals, plenty of bars and restaurants. The straw market is fun, never pay asking price. Junkanoo beach (free and in walking distance) was a blast, there is a crazy side and a family side, both are great! Awesome snorkeling.

We took a taxi to Atlantis and walked around the free areas. Was not impressed. Went back to town and did a little shopping. The locals do approach you to sell items or braid hair. All you have to do is say "no thank you" and walk away. These people are only trying to make a living so there is no reason to be hateful about them in your review.

Have been to Nassau several times, each one a new adventure. My highlight would have to be the public library, not far from port, east walking distance. Not much of a tourist attraction, but the view from the top, and the history of the building...made for an exciting day for a 40+ year old pirate...

Was a neat port. We have seen people say it was dirty.... we viewed it as a neat place to visit. We took in some shopping, visited the straw market.... which was a bit overwhelming and partook in a wine making class. We sampled some of the awesome local cuisine at Bahama Barrels, had some delicious rum cake and local type cocktails. Just remember it is what you make out of it. We had a blast.
