Group of 8 including 4 kids. Ship and ports had activities, food, etc suitable for every age we had there. Escape is a beautiful ship with a lot going for her. We made use of many restaurants, bars etc and had great experiences in each one. Staff and personnel were friendly and helpful. Overall, one of our best vacations ever!
Embarkation

First time cruisers, were apprehensive about crowds during embarkation. No need to worry. Our group of 8 were checked in and boarded quickly with no issues. Smooth process.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Food was good to great across the board. Had Specialty dining and also utilized complimentary dining. All good.
Food Republic

My new fave place! Had the restaurant to ourselves as weather and seas were rough and most stayed in cabins. Talk about personalized service! Lol! Food was portioned well and delicious. Staff was attentive and friendly and made several recommendations for this menu as well as other venues/events. Pricing is a la carts and very reasonable.
Onboard Activities

Highly recommend Thermal Spa pass, very enjoyable. Grandkids had unlimited arcade and loved water slides. Husband and SIL spent some time in casino and DH won a fair amount of $. Went to the kids show at end of cruise, hit up bingo and Deal / No Deal, all fun. Didn’t use outside pool or hot tubs.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Saw several games/shows in progress in Atrium but did not attend any nor did we go to any shows. Looked like people were having fun though!
Children's Programs

Grandkids enjoyed Splash Academy and they put on a cute circus themed show at the end of the week.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Didn’t meet any staff/personnel that weren’t friendly and/or helpful. As a matter of fact, while at Great Stirrup Cay, my daughter’s wedding ring slipped off and fell through the cabana floor. Staff immediately came and they were willing to pull the floor up to retrieve it for her! Luckily they did not have to as one very adept gentleman was able to fish it back up on a bent piece of wire!
Ship Quality

Always clean and maintained. Layout. Is intuitive and the ship is a beauty!
Cabin / Stateroom

Beautiful cabin with extended balcony. Room was large and adjoined with next cabin so we kept door open all week.Bed was comfortable and grandkids loved the bunk and sofa bed. Bathroom was spacious and well lit.
Ship tip
Book dinner, shows, excursions early, before embarkation if possible. Once you board, remember you’re on vacation and enjoy all the ship has to offer.
Loved this island. Rented a large cabana-do it if you can. Worth every penny to have a base to go back to. Weather was great, snorkeling was fantastic, cabana service was on point. Just an overall fabulous day.
NYC never disappoints. So much to do, never enough time here. Get to the 9/11 Memorial Museum and fountains; truly humbling. Get cupcakes from a Sprinkles atm, eat on Church St., see a show: you can’t go wrong no matter what you choose to do!
Did the Blue Lagoon excursion, all had a blast! Upgraded for the inflatables for the grandkids while we enjoyed fresh conch salad and adult beverages. The port area was filled with friendly venders and lots to see and do. Will definitely return!
We chose our time (9:30 am), tagged our luggage and put it out then went to bed. Got up, ate breakfast and left on time. From walking off the gangplank to being picked up by car service was less than an hour. I’ve heard nightmare stories of Customs Hall but we’re sailed right through with no issues.
