Review summary

I found that the ship was nice but it lacked sufficient public restrooms in common areas and the food was average with lots of room for improvement. received paper menus at specialty resteraunts which was surprisingly classless for what is supposed to be upper scale dinning. staff was great and made up for the ships shortfalls. Big Kudos to the onboard personal trainer who was awesome. Thermal spa was also well with the extra money.

garden cafe had insufficient seating for the size of the ship. May have been because weather was not that great and everyone stayed indoors.

Onboard Activities

fitness center and Thermal spa stood out. Not permitted to do water slides because of a piercing this was a disappointment. :(

overall underwhelming.

Most of the staff really shined while a select few where below average.

Nothing stood out as being exceptionally clean or exceptionally dirty so I ranked this as Okay

average furnishings with ample stowage.

Ship tip

I found that there was not a sufficient amount of restrooms on the ship and they are quite limited in space for a ship of this size

One thing that stood out to me About both the Escape and the Getaway, her sister ship, were the many public restrooms that were available. Compared to Carnival Breeze there and many and they aren't cramped. Funny how there everyone perceives things so differently.
