I will be in labadee in May. Last time I was here was back in 2010. Did anyone go to Adrenaline Beach recently ? We rented a day bed. What was your favorite beach?

I really didn't know what a private island meant but after going to Labadee, here are some tips: - if you want some light shopping, take the bus and go all the way to the end. (it's not that far) - if you want to play in the water, there's an area next to to the gold section and not the large stretch of beach. - It's hot so spend a few dollars on some shade on the sand - try the drink! the special coco loco/labadee drink. It's my new favorite! - lunch is totally provided and delicious!

An absolutely beautiful island. The cruise line tour was (Labadee Traditions) great. It included a boat ride to Norm's Place Guest House with cultural information and performances.

Nice place with great activities but very pushy people in the Artisan Village. Many would not take no for answer. Got very annoying quickly. The mountain coaster was awesome though. Parasailing was cancelled due to “wind” but there was no wind at all.

Shore excursions are too expensive, not worth it.

Lots of stuff to do and plenty of places to enjoy a great beach day. Our kids loved the dragon coaster but did not particularly like the water slide. zip lining was fun but I do not think I would spend the money to do it again.

We were pleasantly surprised by Labadee. Our snorkeling excursion was great. The buffet lunch was excellent (recommend you get in line early). The shuttles to different parts of the resort were helpful.

We were very disappointed in Labadee. Don’t get me wrong, RC has done an incredible job with the layout and all of the thought they’ve put into it, it just didn’t wow us. It was extremely hot the day we were there and walking on the sand, even in flip flops, was like walking on molten lava. The sand is extremely deep, at least on the left side beach, which makes it very difficult to walk through. We rented a two person lounger but ended up in the last row and couldn’t see the water. It was definitely not worth the $44 we paid for it. The beach was very rocky, which I had read about previously, but we came prepared with water shoes. The water also had several large rocks. The swimming area was extremely small (they have a rope up and a lifeguard enforcing people to stay within the boundaries) and also very shallow. Everyone was pretty much on top of one another. I’m only 5’2” and I had to kneel on my knees to have water cover me up to my shoulders. There was also a lot of grass and seaweed floating around. On the plus side, we saw lots of small fish and another passenger found a live sand dollar which I’ve never seen before. We stuck around about 2 hours and then headed back to the ship and air conditioning!! Once we had cooled down, we headed to the ship’s outdoor pool and enjoyed the lack of a crowd. If we ever travel to Labadee again, I would check out the beaches on the right side as I’ve heard they’re better.
