The best part about this port is the fact that our ship was the only one to dock there that day. It is an enclosed compound belonging to Royal Caribbean. We did the zip line, it was AMAZING!!! A real must do if you have the nerve to do it. I was scared to death, but I did it and, boy, am I ever glad I did. I’d do it again in an instant! If you are looking forward to water activities, then this is the port for you! Scuba, snorkeling, and even jet skiing is available with only your shipmates there to partake of them.... shorter lines, and less crowds! There is some shopping, but be prepared to be rushed by the venders. There’s not much variety, but they are willing to bargain with you. You may find just what you want and get it for a lesser price by just going stall to stall.

Did the zip line. Very easy to get around. Lots of lounge chairs to be had. Did not see it all.

We enjoyed it, but felt like it was not a very authentic experience of what Haiti is really like- more like Disneyland in Haiti. Ziplining was really awesome and the staff was great, the food served was excellent and there was plenty of it, and we enjoyed the artisan village. The performers who came out during lunch were a lot of fun. The fresh coconut was delicious!

The beach was amazing. We went to the Columbia beach and swam, enjoyed the wonderful meal, had a drink and payed in the shade on beach chairs. Great visit. Loved it.

Vastly improved. You can actually get something eat and drink there now (although the food shuts down early so eat early). The Ocean beach is coral covered in sand, so be VERY careful. The lagoon beach is much better. The pay activities are all overpriced so skip them and the vendors, while now licensed, so better behaved, are still a pain. There crafts are great, if you can ignore there pleas and always cut the first offer price by at least half. Walk away and they will do it for you.
