too many rocks to swim, my only options to drink were soda, a cheap rum to mix with my soda or i have to spend $12 to buy the smallest frozen drink possible. They only offer a drink called the Labadoozey which was really good, but not worth what it was at all. Food they provided was taken away before we had the chance to eat it so we had to spend the last few hours on the island hungry. and as much as i wanted to i couldnt shop in their artisan market, the sellers are wayyyy too aggressive.

I think it would have been wonderful if the weather was on our side but it was pouring down and heavy winds. First our jetskii tour was cancelled and we were moved into the Zipline excursion and after going through the hassle of registry and safety and harnessing up and all, that also was cancelled and we headed back to the ship. If you are in Labadee, try the labadoozie drink it's good!

This area is beautiful. Did the zip line, which was fun. The Haitians can be pushy in the shopping area, but if you tell them no, you will be ok. The sand is very fine and the water was clear.

The port and excursion was great but the natives were very aggressive in attempts to get us to buy something from their shops...we were frightened and decided not to go any further to shop! I think there is a need for more beach front...shoreline.

Since it wasn't really an "island" as much as a private cove with 2-3 inlets, I felt options for enjoyment were more limited. I wasn't impressed that we had to pay for water bottles since we were told only sodas and alcohol would come with a charge. Also, beyond the "excursions", there really wasn't much else to do at an affordable cost. Paying an additional $75+ per person to enjoy anything simply wasn't worthwhile to our family of 4 and party of 10. So, we ventured out around 10, swam a little, enjoyed lunch, then returned to the ship. I think I would prefer a private island in the Bahamas to this one.

Best stop on our cruise. Beatiful Beach nice big waves. Good shopping until we ran into the Orange shirt sales, if you go to Columbus bay you hit the islanders selling their products. All wearing bright orange shirts. Very hard pressure sales. After first tent I turn and left. They tried to put bracelets on my wife then want you to buy them. Or cruise friends left that area as well. Less hassle I would have bought something.

We went snorkeling here. It was a LONG trip! We saw a lot of fish, coral, etc. The guide would find different things and either point them out or pick them up for us to see. Really cool trip. No high pressure sales on the snorkel boat to buy the photos they took, cuz there weren't any this time! We also went to the straw market here. Seriously high pressure to buy something there!!! Our son is 14, and has never experienced anything like that, so we took him. He spent some $ on stuff he didn't even want. :( Wish he could have had a chance to look around and get something he liked.
