We booked an excursion through the cruise line, and went to a local street market, the light house, and the beach. Grand Turk is okay just not our favorite port.

We did the ultimate snorkel adventure. The guides were good, specifically Happy, but the excursion was not worth the money. There was very little activity and few fish. In retrospect would have just saved the money and hung out at the beach.

Beach immediately off ship was not great. Rocky (cut my foot in water) and lots of seaweed. Walk further should be better.

Only shopping in Grand Turk is at the Port of Call. I would recommend to hang out at Jack's Shack (best food) and Governors Beach. Those are the two best places on the Island. We rented a car and drove around which, I wouldn't do it again because their isn't much to see but a bunch of Donkeys running around. The Island got wasted for the Hurricane and lot of houses, etc were destroyed.

We swam at the free beach. Got a shelter for my husband (doesn't swim, has trouble walking.) We had a great time there. Beach is rocky at first, but past there is fine. Went to Margaritaville for lunch. Delicious and fast service even though they were packed.
