Review summary

The ship itself was fine, the crowd was out of control. Too many people for the size of ship, in my opinion. Kids and adults ran wild at all hours of the day and night. Fights broke out (full on fist throwing brawls) on at least 2 occasions that I personally witnessed in the Buffet area. Won't be on Carnival again.

Beach immediately off ship was not great. Rocky (cut my foot in water) and lots of seaweed. Walk further should be better.

Sorry you had a bad experience but great that you love the ship! That’s what I was afraid of going on a ship out of New York during peak season. We usually sale off-season like in the fall or early spring. But keep on cruising! PS. On some of the cruises we do live at a New York because we live in New Jersey. And we loved it.👍🏼💖🛳⚓️

Not surprised hence the reason I hate sailing out of N.Y. I really enjoyed the Sunrise, just not some of the ppl. There weren't many kids onboard when we sailed. Never saw children running throughout the ship. It was the young adults that were behaving like hoodrats.

People do seem to behave more badly no matter what cruise line. They seem to leave their manners & ettiquet at home, that's if they ever had any 🤔 So many behave extremely selfishly, without any consideration whatsoever for anyone else. As long as they're ok, that's all that matters, unfortunately.
