I had two really good steaks the second day, but the rest was not that good. I actually had to buy food and eat at the ports since my daughter did not like ANY of the food on the cruise.

Very dysfunctional. We went to play Clue murder mystery, only to find out it was a five day game and you had to play bingo and do other things, just didn’t explain it clearly in the description, and was really looking forward to it!
PLUS my mother was supposed to drink for FREE at the casino, but the staff told her No she had to pay for them!

Only saw the comedian, which was funny, but it was the same act the whole cruise.

Very old ship, smelled musty and like an old bar room, due to allowing people to smoke INSIDE the cruise ship!! My daughter and brother have asthma and I HATE cigarette smoke, just really ruined my daughters first and only cruise!
It rained my mother was really sick due to the cigarette smoke on the ship and my daughter had a hard time doing the excursion because of her asthma from breathing the cigarette smoke!
Sorry for your experience. Ours was the opposite. I have friends who wouldn't cruise if you paid them. I always tell them, they don't know until they try it. At least you gave it a try.
Here's what I think. You or your mother read free drinks when you reach a certain point threshold but in your mind just remember free drinks.
I get free drinks now. I have also had to reach my points at times. It's all clearly spelled out.
As it sounds from all your other reviews nothing would have made you happy. You complain about the smoke in the casino but complain about the drinks in the casino. If the smoke is a concern why the hell do you or her care about the drinks?
I think you are just a miserable person and there is nothing that would have made you happy.
I suggest you just stay home and love your cats Karen.
All I know is smoking is allowed in Casinos and I think some bars and that's it.I dont like smoke either that's why I try to avoid as much as possible. I'm sorry you family has asthma problems. And if you have picky eaters or special diet you are advised ahead of time so they could accommodate. As for rooms I always see that they are not available til after 2 at least so they can get it ready.
No where did it say this was a No Smoking Cruise. Sounds like you spent lots of time in the Casino, BTW "THAT'S ONE OF THE PLACES PEOPLE SMOKE! If you can't find decent food on a ship you are very picky. Never have I done hungry. You should stay ashore. PLEASE!
Vacations are what you make it. Even when things are not going your way a positive attitude can take you far. Hope you at least got some nice family pictures.
Cruising definitely is not for you. If your family can not tolerate cigarette smoke why are they hanging around areas where smoking is allowed? We can’t stand cigarette smoke. We don’t go through the casino if we don’t have to and stay away from the section on the ship they allow it. We never smell any smoke if we avoid those areas. As for the food, I font know how old your daughter is but they always have food that kids will like. There’s something for everyone. Don’t go cruising anymore please.
How was it that your mother was supposed to get free drinks in the casino? And if your mother gets sick from smoke she shouldn't be hanging out in Casinos.
My suggestion is that cruising is not for you. As many complaints as you had, traveling is probably not for you either. For Someone to say there was nothing to eat on a cruise ship must either be totally exaggerating or be the pickiest person in the world when it comes to food. There are a variety of foods from around the world on every cruise ship I have been on.
All ships Allow smoking in specific areas. If your daughter couldn't find ANYTHING to eat aboard the ship, she must have issues. Port Canaveral has many options for the day but you didn't leave the ship? You stated why bother? You must be loads of fun at a party.
