beaches are rocky as is surf, not sandy but more coral or smooth rocks so don't bother going in water at beach unless you want to snorkel; take the trip to Governor Beach or just relax at huge Margaritaville pool and swim up bar

Beautiful island! We rented a golf cart and explored the island. Do NOT rent from Karib. The golf cart had a rusted bolt, so when we hit a bump in the road, it came out and knocked the windshield out. Luckily we grabbed the windshield and took it back in one piece, but the lady was screaming at us that we broke her golf cart. The island is beautiful and I can't wait to go back! I just wish we had more time here.

We did snuba. It was awesome. Our guide John was soft spoken but fabulous! Explained everything in detail and was always there to help if needed. He took some great photos of us and the sea life we saw while diving (including a surprise visit from a stingray, a lobster and some sand dollars!). Snuba is a great option if you can't scuba dive (need certification). We had a small group (only 4 of us), so that might have made it better! The shopping area had some nice stores including a Ron Jon.

Loved this island. Very small area and we took advantage of the Snuba experience. After, we enjoyed the beach right at that pier with some great swimming, water sports, and a lively Margaritaville with a huge pool.

We enjoyed Grand Turk. We did the Safari tour and enjoyed learning about the island and its history. We only had 10 minutes at the three stops on the tour though, and would have loved to have longer at each one.

Margaritaville was fun. Great margaritas! Need to go there right away to get a seat. It was very busy. The second time in Grand Turk, we rented an ATV. Need to bring cash for that. The island was interesting, with horses on the side of the road.
