Beautiful island. We did a sightseeng excursion by the taxi (for 10 people), paid only $20 per person. The driver conducted unforgetful excursion, showed us the whole island, gave many historical facts, he talked for more than an hour giving us different kinds of information. This excursion was better than those provided by the cruise ships

For the love of the gods, if snorkeling at the beach, do NOT go beyond the barrier to Bikini Bottom and next to the ships. They will come out on Jetski's and make you go back. Also, do NOT hold on to the barrier! Millions of tiny tiny sea creatures live there and a fellow passenger had an octopus, crab AND sea spider crawl up his arm and over his head and ears as he took pics of the 800 foot drop next to the barrier....while holding said barrier. I swam back a bit to his wife and calmly told her "you should tell your husband he has some hitchhikers on his head. I dunno if he'll freak out, so I'll be....over there." He DID freak out and goodness knows where they landed, but not on me! I stopped using snorkeling gear at Grand Turk because someone told me there was a Barracuda near me and then 10 minutes later when I looked down, it was STILL there! Nope, I want to be ignorant. I don't want to know what was there anymore or at any beach. Wear your swimshoes! The rocks are no joke under the pier. The sign says don't walk there. Do so at own risk. But easier to get around going under. Margaritaville is right there beyond Duty free. Huge pool is free. Wave rider is not. Hot tip: Buy everything you want, alcohol too, as SOON as you get off the ship and just have them hold it for you to get on your way back. Stock sells out quick for certain items. I like morning swims, so pretty much everything is there when I go. If you don't plan to eat/drink on beach/excursion, have them hold it so it doesn't melt and you don't have to watch it!

I had been to Grand Turks Island 4 years ago and it has changed for the better. The beach is right next to the port. We brought our own snorkeling gear and went out on our own in the designated areas to snorkel. Margaritaville has showers to clean off sand from the beach and the pool as well as the pool chairs are complimentary. Keep in mind that some of the beach chairs and umbrellas are not complimentary, but the beach chairs that are a little further away from the water are complimentary. The Island is small and not much to do, therefore, it was the cheapest Island we went to.

Enjoy the beautiful free beach with all free amenities right off the ship. Margaritaville had lots of fun for all with ginormous wrap around pools, Flow Rider surf activity, swim up bar, etc.

What a beautiful place! The free pool and beach that are just steps away from the ship are wonderful. It’s a great place not to have to book an excursion you can and just enjoy yourself right there at the port. There’s plenty of shopping swimming and exploring to be done. This was our first time at this port so we did book and go on an excursion in which we drove mini hummer type vehicles around the island. This was fun was a good tour however on future visits I’ll just sit back and enjoy the pool. 😎

We headed down the beach beyond Margaritaville to Jack's Shack. It was a relaxing beach day with great drinks and swimming. Be sure to say hello to Jack's famous dog, Topher.

Stunning, unbelievably clear/turquoise water and a spotless beach. We meandered along the rocky beach opposite the public area, and we had it all to ourselves. There were conch shells everywhere. Wild donkeys roamed and nibbled the lush greens near the sand. We are allergic, but other tourists were petting them. After our spectacular walk, we visited Jack's Shack for a good, strong blue margarita and some of the best conch fritters we've ever eaten. This was such a great port! We look forward to returning to Grand Turk on our Southern Caribbean cruise next year.

This was my absolute favorite port! It is truly BEAUTIFUL .. we went jet skiing and highly recommend going to jacks shack. The jerk chicken was AMAZING and the drinks were strong. They could have left me on this island and I would have been happy lol
