A: The Tram is mostly for the beach resort, but I think the tram have another stop or two but a taxi can take you further Likr Alice Town, a golf car is quite expensive

A: Beach is the most common activity. We took the tram to a beach, but then walked around into town. We stopped to look at the Dolphin house which is a museum that is built out of entirely recycled/found materials. The artist was there and was super nic... e. We decided against the golf carts because they were asking over $100 for a rental. Golf cart gives you more freedom but is pricey. The tram has set stops, but will get you around the island free.See More

Answer QuestionA: as soon as you come off the ship on tran, it will take to spot to rent them. They are all localized.

A: There is only one place that rents golf carts. You can either take the free tram and get off when they stop there. You could also walk but it’s a decent walk. Walk down the pier to the main round take a left and walk some more it will be on your r... ight.See More

A: BMB Rental Carts - they do have a web page to pre-book. They are located @ Fisherman’s Village, Bimini, Bahamas. It is at this location you can Pick-Up/Collect & Return your golf cart rental(s). Therefore, If you are arriving via Cruise Ship: (they a... re approximately a five (5) minute walk from the cruise port) Once disembarking your vessel, walk all the way down to the end of the Cruise Port Lane, which will run you into a roundabout & two (2) water tanks on your right-hand side. At this point, make a left, once you make the left, they are approximately half (1/2) a block up on the right-hand side.See More

A: You can. It will most likely be very crowded since it's the path of least resistance for everyone on the ship who wants a beach day.
Answered by cmressler on January 10, 2024
A: Take the taxi further down, it was $5 a person or you can rent a golf cart for $60. There's a little restaurant on the beach and it's more open there.
Answered by RickyRic on January 10, 2024
A: always the nearest beach is the most crowded indeed
Answered by Razor78 on January 12, 2024
A: When I went, it was cheaper to go to the resort at the end of the pier than rent chairs and umbrella on the free beach closest to the ship. If you don't mind sitting on your towel, then it's a good beach.

A: Was there in August and no proof was required.

A: Yes we have. On the small side, but nicely air conditioned. Bar in the middle. Not very active. Worth the trip to see the casino. Did not try our luck though. Walked through and explored the resort. Very nice and upscale. In truth, it's a one... and done experience.See More

A: If you go to the south end of the island by the ship wreck there is a place you can easily get in the water. If I go back to Bimini I’ll probably try snorkeling here.

A: We did the "Resorts World Pool and Beach Experience" excursion. You get access to both the pools and the beach at Bimini Beach Club. The "Sunny Day at Beach 360 for 2" excursion is at the same location, but you only have access to the beach and not th... e pools. They do give out different wristbands depending on which one you get, but I did not notice if they were enforcing them. Hope that helps.See More

A: Take the tram a free service there at the dock. I think it is the first stop where golf cart rentals are located.
Answered by wacyb on April 24, 2023
A: There is only one golf cart rental company. It seems to be whatever they want to charge that day. I’ve heard has low as $60, but paid $90 last year when I went. Tried talking the guy down, but he wasn’t having it. If you have more than two people... it will cost even more. It is the best way to explore the island though!See More

A: There are many. Take a left at the end of the pier and there are quite a few in the parking lot. Or take a left and them a quick right and there are some down there. Price depends on what they wanna charge or how much in demand they are that day. I p... aid $120 on Easter sunday. There was some reunion on the island and they were in high demandSee More

A: We were there in January 2023. We took a taxi ($5 each person) to Alice Town. The beach (Radio Beach) there is beautiful. You get to meet the locals and was less crowded than the one by pier. The chairs and umbrellas were free. There is a store on si... te selling food and drinks. If you cross the road away from the beach, there is a small straw market with a bathroom.See More

A: Not in Bimini. Really not much to do there except the beach. When we were there in October people were coming back to the ship after only a short time saying "that was a waste of time. There is nothing to do and no shopping."
Answered by NanMarie on February 11, 2023
A: It really all depends on what you want to do. We kayaked but due to currents that day could only stay near shore. Ended up stopping at a conch shack for lunch and Knock Out Punch. When we got back we rented a golf cart and went to the end of the resi... dent side island, called shipwreck point and snorkeled (we have our own gear). We then stopped at Radio Beach and got a fresh coconut pina colada. Everything outside the resort is cash only. There were jellyfish but we swam with them and did not get stung. It really depends on the time of year you are there. They were super cool to watch when snorkeling!See More

Answer QuestionA: It was pretty cold when I went into the ocean in Bimini. Was the middle-ish of December.
Answered by Cruisersnoozer on January 2, 2023
A: that's going to be a personal decision. I live in South Florida and the only people you see in the water in winter months are the tourists from the upper Midwest and Northeast states, where their summertime water temps are comparable to our winter wa... ter temps. But I did a New Years Day dip a few years back and it was chilly but fine.See More

A: No, Bimini is not a private island. If you plan on going to the free beach on the resort property (last stop on the tram) there will be a food truck (for a fee).

A: it is probably the best beach that we have ever been to. We bought the cruise ship package that had lunch, lunch was simple like fish and chips. Next time we would go back to ship for lunch

A: We must get on the tram, go back to the ship and eat at buffet then take the tram back to the beach.

A: Yes, you can walk to the tram and tell them you want to go to the free beach. It is beautiful and you can rent chairs and an umbrella if you choose to. A: Yes take the free tram to the stop after resort 360. It’s the same beach but you don’t get some of the amenities of the resort. If you go in on this tram stop you can still rent chairs/umbrellas.
