Take the taxi further down, it was $5 a person or you can rent a golf cart for $60. There's a little restaurant on the beach and it's more open there.

When I went, it was cheaper to go to the resort at the end of the pier than rent chairs and umbrella on the free beach closest to the ship. If you don't mind sitting on your towel, then it's a good beach.
