$60.00 round trip to Puerto Plata by Taxi. Wasn't worth it. Spend the extra $$ and go to Sousa or Caberette.

We did the Hands on Chocolate excursion and really enjoyed it. It wasn't an eye opening experience, but it was neat to learn how these women are overcoming poverty by making and selling chocolate. They were warm and welcoming to our group. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Beautiful and tranquil stop. Not as busy as other ports. Everything (dock, stores etc. )was new at cruise terminal.

Took what we thought was a tour. It was only taxis and drivers spoke little English. Island was beautiful. W Mt to an outdoor market and hated it. Everyone kept trying to get us to buy from them. Felt sorry for them but couldn’t buy from everyone
