Review summary

More entertainment when it comes to Latin music and a variety on snacks after midnight. At one time Carnival cruises used to have a Captains Night, with free appetizers and cocktails. Also a midnight Buffet with a variety of food, appetizers and more importantly.... desserts, beautifully displayed with carved iced art. This was open to everyone sailing, now it's only for those who are VIFP according to their level or number of times they cruise with Carnival.

The Golden Restaurant was awesome!! We enjoyed celebrating our Anniversary in the dinning room. Mohammad really knows his job and how to pamper his guests. Mohammad was so professional, knew what he is doing and was aware of what was going on with his tables. Kudos to Mohammad; Great job Mohammad!!

White Heat Dance Club

SMOKING SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED in the CLUB. The smoking was so overwhelming that I could not go into the dance club. That was very disappointing to us.

We enjoyed hanging by the pool and also on level 10 Aft.

Entertainment

We were not impressive with the entertainment. The group of dancers/singers were armatures; lacked experience. We have seen better entertainment on other cruises that were close to Vegas show style. This group did not have what it takes to be on that level. Need a better group. In regards to the Hispaniola Band they were awesome!! Just wish they were able to stay longer in entertaining because in the White Heat Room, SMOKING WAS ALLOWED :( , big mistake!!! We couldn't go in to enjoy the music and dance due to the smoky environment.

The service from the waiters, room steward, Syarif was awesome, as well as other ship personnel, such as Mohammad in the Golden Restaurant.

Syarif was our Stateroom Steward & was very efficient in taking care of our needs. He was very respectful and professional in taking care of his duties. GREAT job Syarif in taking care of our needs and in keeping our room clean!!

Ship tip

Their should be a another place to eat after 12 midnight, e.g. finger sandwiches and chicken wings. The pizza was good, but not everyone eats pizza, sorry to say, but it is true.
